About the Role
Performance Academies is seeking a highly organized, systems-driven leader to serve as our Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO). This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance of our growing network of public charter schools across Ohio.This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with executive leadership, superintendents, principals, and board members to ensure operational excellence across all campuses.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight across multiple Ohio campuses.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure strong execution of systems and procedures.
- Oversee facilities, food service, transportation, safety and technology operations.
- Lead annual enrollment planning aligned to budget targets and growth projections.
- Oversee the full enrollment pipeline from marketing through student start date.
- Monitor enrollment data, conversion metrics, and forecasting; provide executive reports.
- Ensure compliance with state, sponsor and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Oversee transportation compliance and coordination with resident districts.
- Lead development and implementation of standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare executive dashboards and operational performance reports.
- Support Board governance, policy updates and meeting preparation.
- Supervise operational staff and participate in hiring and performance management.
- Monitor operational budgets and vendor agreements for efficiency and alignment.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in operations, multi-site management, education administration, or comparable field.
Education experience preferred but not required.
Experience in compliance or regulated environments is a plus.
